AI-powered audio storytelling: How generative tools are transforming music and voice in education

Join us for a hands-on learning session exploring how generative AI can enhance audio storytelling in teaching and learning.

Following the success of a recent session that explored AI-driven visual storytelling through Taipei Nights, Aryeh Sternberg returns with producer and musical maestro Jason Chan with a brand new creative focus: the power of AI-generated music and audio.

Through a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Ham and Cheese, we’ll dive into practical, pedagogically grounded applications of generative audio in education. Discover how these tools can support creative assessment, student engagement, and new approaches to digital content creation.

Why audio?

Audio is one of the most accessible and impactful mediums for engagement. In this session, participants will learn how AI-driven music and voice tools can be used to:

  • Create student podcasts, theme songs, or audio journals
  • Generate narration for explainer videos or presentations
  • Design ambient soundscapes or soundtracks to enhance student media projects
  • Make flipped and online learning more inclusive through audio

And the best part? Attendees will leave with their own custom-made theme song, created live in the session.

Session highlights

Aryeh and Jason will share the creative process behind:

  • Ham and Cheese: a playful, genre-bending track born from AI lyrics, music, and voice tools
  • Jason’s Wish: an atmospheric, experimental composition showcasing the emotional depth of generative sound
  • AI Podcast creation and other spoken word use cases

The examples demonstrate how these tools enable non-musicians and educators to create professional-quality audio content in minutes.

Who should attend

Academic staff, education designers, and professional staff looking to explore audio and music creation for learning and teaching, also anyone in the general public who wants to dig into Generative Audio.
