UNSW's Education Festival 2025

Inspire Learning. Elevate Teaching. Celebrate Education.

Proposals to present at Edu Fest 2025 are now open!

This year’s Education Festival theme will be centred around embedding UNSW's Societal Impact Framework into our UNSW Education

The events will allow us to share good practice around redesigining our curricula, to ensure that our Learning & Teaching helps us achieve positive societal impact goals. We are particularly interested in unearthing great work that enables interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary learning.

UNSW colleagues from all faculties & divisions are invited to share your insights and experiences around this theme to inspire what we do next in education, which is integral to UNSW's new strategy.

Expressions of interest are open for the following presentation types:

  • Short presentation (4 - 10 minutes)
  • Poster presentation – most likely physical poster
  • Hands-on workshop/masterclass – presented by yourself (and colleagues if applicable)
  • Hands-on workshop/masterclass – presented by someone you suggest as an expert

Submit your proposal now!

(You can preview the form to see the questions in PDF here)

Submissions are due by 11:59pm Monday, 22 September

Please note: This year, the festival is trialling a more condensed program, with satellite events on Tuesday 25 and main sessions on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 November. As a result, presentation spots are limited, and submission does not guarantee inclusion in the final program. For proposals that we are unable to accommodate on this occasion, we will aim to provide future opportunities to share your work at subsequent events.
