UNSW Online - Business Law

The new Graduate Certificate in Business Law equips students with legal knowledge tailored for non-legal professionals. The program includes courses that build a solid foundation in key areas such as corporate governance, commercial contract law, ethics, cyber and the law, and employment law.

Developed by the School of Private and Commercial Law at UNSW Law & Justice in collaboration with UNSW Online, the Graduate Certificate is delivered 100% online in an accelerated hexamester calendar and offers six intakes of eight-week study blocks each year.

“The Graduate Certificate in Business Law provides professionals with a practical understanding of the Australian legal system. It equips them with the ability to identify sources of law, understand legal reasoning and processes, and gain subject-specific knowledge in key areas that impact business practice,” said Dr. Leon Terrill, Program Director for the new Graduate Certificate in Business Law.

Applications are now open for the Graduate Certificate in Business Law, with the first intake starting in Hexamester 4, 2025 (June 23, 2025). For more information, please visit the UNSW Study Online website.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Law adds to the growing UNSW Online portfolio, which includes the Master of Analytics, Master of Applied Finance, Master of Cyber Security, Master of Data Science, Master of Financial Technology, Master of Human Resource Management and Master of Management.
