Reimagine learning: Transforming courses with media and immersive technology

Join Graham Hannah and Brian Landrigan from the PVCE Media and Immersive team as they showcase real examples from UNSW courses and share how media and immersive technologies are transforming student learning.  

This interactive workshop offers an opportunity for you to explore how media and immersive experiences can enhance your course and enrich the student learning experience. You will hear from academic staff who have engaged with the team to create unique experiences for students and you will get the chance to try out VR for yourself. Designed as a collaborative brainstorming session, this workshop encourages the sharing and development of ideas with the team and your peers. Bring along your course or assessment ideas and enjoy reimagining how content can be delivered to students in new and exciting ways. 

Spaces are limited and priority will be given to academics/course convenors.

Brian Landrigan

Manager, Educational Media & Immersive team

Brian is the Manager of the PVCE Media and Immersive Technologies team at UNSW. The combined team creates educational media, XR content in collaboration with academic staff to enhance the student experience at UNSW. Brian’s responsibilities also include the administration of UNSW media systems. He has been working in the education sector in a variety of roles for over 30 years and is lucky enough to lead a team of highly skilled professionals.

Manager, Immersive Technologies

Graham is the manager of Immersive Technologies at UNSW as part of the Media & Immersive Team in the PVC Education Portfolio. The team develops bespoke simulations and VR experiences to enhance the learning and experience of academics and their students across the full range of disciplines at UNSW. Graham's background in Architecture, Design, Digital Media and IT allows him to continue to lead innovation in the adoption and application of technologies in the higher education space.
