Education Festival 2026
Save the date: 23 and 24 November
This year’s theme is Technology x Pedagogy: Intersections in Learning & Teaching. The program will explore the interplay between technology, teaching practice and student learning, and will include opportunities to learn more about our future LMS platform.
The festival will feature panels, short presentations, posters and showcases aligned to the following sub-themes:
- Assessment x AI | Exploring new approaches to assessment in the context of AI, including how and when AI can, can’t or must be used in assessment; with a particular emphasis for ‘must’: explicitly teaching responsible use and deep understanding of AI
- Technology x Inclusive Learning & Teaching | Exploring the use of technology in creating more inclusive, accessible and supportive learning experiences where all students can participate, belong, and succeed
- Technology x Indigenous Knowledges
- Technology x Collaborative & Experiential Learning | Exploring the use of technology to create more collaborative, authentic, and meaningful learning experiences
- Unpacking the intersection: pedagogy and technology | Exploring the interplay; for example, shaping of purposes, values, methods and tech – as captured in T. Fawns’ Entangled Pedagogy.
