EF Lunch & Learn: Spotlighting Student Perspective on Term 1

Link: Join via Teams

As we prepare for teaching in T2, many of us are reflecting on what worked in T1. But, what do our students think? How did online learning work for them? What would they like more of and what made them groan?

For our upcoming Lunch & Learn in May, the EF team will focus on the student experience. We have invited some students to join us to give their perspectives.

What would you most like to know from the students? – synchronous vs asynchronous, last year’s lecture recordings or live, BB Collaborate or Zoom, discussion board or MS Teams chat…

Following the Q&A with the students, we will have a discussion on how to address these issues realistically.

Session Hosts: Louise Lutz-Mann, Alex Steel and Richard Buckland

Structure of the Lunch & Learn:

  • 12pm: Student panel (please submit questions anonymously here so that the students have the chance to reflect)

  • 12.45 – 1.05 pm: Break and EF catch up via Zoom

  • 1.05 – 1.50 pm: Moderated discussion on ways to address student concerns and best approaches to online in T2
